Hi, I'm Madina
Namataka Madina is the youngest child in the family and has an older sister from the same father. Presently, the older sister has her own family. After their father and mother split up, Madina has been primarily under the care of her mother. The mother, a single parent, is visually impaired on one side and works as a server in a nearby restaurant, working six days a week with an income of 3 or less dollars per day. This income is used to support the family, and they all live together in the same house – consisting of three people: the grandmother, Madina, and the mother. The mother is the primary caretaker of the family. Madina demonstrates good behavior and an eagerness to learn. If the child receives educational support, the family will be empowered to take better care of the child. The child will receive basic education and develop her potential according to her interests.
